60-Hour Alabama Real Estate Salesperson Pre-License Course
MY Real Estate School Β Β·Β  AREC School License #69695
Please read this entire orientation, then complete the acknowledgement at the bottom to unlock the course.

πŸ“– About This Course

This course delivers the complete 60 clock hours of instruction approved by the Alabama Real Estate Commission (AREC) to qualify you to sit for the Alabama salesperson licensing examination. You’ll work through 29 lessons combining recorded video instruction, reading, and mastery quizzes β€” covering national real estate principles (Lessons 1–24) and Alabama license law (Lessons 25–29) β€” followed by a proctored final examination.

Prerequisites: none for this course itself. To qualify for an Alabama license you must be at least 19 years old, a U.S. citizen or lawfully present resident, and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.

Availability & response time: questions are welcome at any point in the course. You will receive a response within 48 hours on business days β€” usually much sooner.

βœ… How You Complete This Course

  • Work in order. Lessons unlock sequentially β€” complete each lesson’s topics and pass its quiz to advance.
  • Quizzes: each lesson ends with a quiz drawn randomly from a larger question bank. You must score at least 70% to advance. You may retake quizzes; every question includes an explanation so you learn from each attempt.
  • Videos: instructional videos play in real time β€” fast-forwarding is disabled, because Alabama requires verified instructional hours.
  • Time limits: AREC allows you one year from enrollment to complete the course, and grants credit for a maximum of 6 instructional hours per day. Pace yourself β€” cramming is capped by law!
  • Final examination: the course concludes with a proctored final exam requiring a score of 70% or higher. Details and scheduling are in the “Exam Proctoring and Instructions” lesson.
  • After you pass: we report your completion, and you’ll receive your certificate to schedule the state licensing exam. You must take the state exam within 6 months of completing this course.

πŸ–₯️ What You Need (Technology Requirements)

  • A desktop, laptop, or tablet (a phone works, but a larger screen is strongly recommended)
  • A current version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge with JavaScript and cookies enabled
  • Broadband internet (5Β Mbps or faster) for streaming video
  • Speakers or headphones, and a PDF viewer for downloadable materials

Technical support: if anything isn’t working β€” login trouble, videos not playing, quiz glitches β€” contact us at info@alabamarealestateclass.com or 205.822.9322 and we’ll get you moving again, normally within one business day.

πŸ“œ Policies You’re Agreeing To

Your enrollment is governed by our published course policies. Please open and read each one now:

  • Refund & Cancellation PolicyΒ
  • Academic Integrity & Student Identity Policy
  • Privacy Policy
  • Course Completion & Timing PolicyΒ
πŸͺͺ Identity verification: this course is for you and only you. By acknowledging below, you affirm that you are the enrolled student and will personally complete all coursework and assessments. Your identity will be verified with photo ID at the proctored final examination, and quiz activity is logged. Misrepresenting your identity or having someone else complete work is grounds for dismissal without credit under Alabama law.

πŸ›οΈ Alabama Licensing Snapshot (Where This Course Fits)

  1. Complete this 60-hour course and pass the proctored final (70%+)
  2. Pass the Alabama state licensing exam (70%+, within 6 months of course completion)
  3. Apply for your temporary license (within 90 days of passing the exam)
  4. Complete the 30-hour post-license course within your first year to receive your original (permanent) license

✍️ Final Step: Acknowledge & Begin

Below this lesson you’ll find the one-question Orientation Acknowledgement. Confirming it records your agreement to the policies above and your affirmation of identity β€” and unlocks Lesson 1. Welcome aboard, and good luck! πŸŽ‰
