📄 Terms & Conditions
MY Real Estate School · AREC School License #69695 Effective date: August 27, 2026
1. Agreement to These Terms
By creating an account, enrolling in a course, or using alabamarealestateclass.com or our learning platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our published course policies, which are part of this agreement:
- Refund & Cancellation Policy
- Academic Integrity & Student Identity Policy
- Privacy Policy
- Course Completion & Timing Policy
If these Terms ever conflict with a specific policy, the specific policy controls.
2. Your Account & Your Information
- You must register using your correct and complete legal name exactly as it should appear on records submitted to the Alabama Real Estate Commission (AREC). The School is not responsible for reporting delays, fees, or licensing consequences caused by inaccurate information you provide.
- Your login credentials are personal to you. Sharing credentials or allowing anyone else to access your course is prohibited.
- You are responsible for keeping your contact information current so we can reach you about your enrollment.
3. Course Access & Expiration
Course access includes six (6) months from the date of enrollment, with paid extensions available up to AREC’s one-year completion limit — see the Course Completion & Timing Policy for details. Alabama grants credit for a maximum of 6 instructional hours per day. Full details, including retake rules and hardship extensions, are in the Course Completion & Timing Policy.
4. Payment & Refunds
Tuition is due at enrollment unless otherwise stated at checkout. Refund eligibility and procedures are governed entirely by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5. Course Materials Are Protected (Copyright)
All course materials — videos, text, quizzes, question banks, handouts, and design — are the property of MY Real Estate School or its content licensors, protected by copyright. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use them for your own study. You may not copy, record, download, share, publish, sell, or distribute any course material, in whole or in part, without our prior written consent. Violation is grounds for immediate dismissal without refund and legal action.
6. Academic Integrity & Completion Certification
All coursework and examinations must be completed personally by the enrolled student. You will affirm your identity at orientation and present photo identification at the proctored final examination. Upon completion, your certification that you personally completed the coursework becomes part of your permanent education record. See the Academic Integrity & Student Identity Policy for full terms.
7. Certificates & Reporting
- Your certificate of completion is issued after you pass the proctored final examination and your account is in good financial standing.
- Completion records are reported as required for Alabama licensure and retained with your education records per applicable requirements.
8. Important Disclaimers
- No licensing guarantee. Completing this course satisfies Alabama’s education requirement but does not guarantee that you will pass the state licensing examination or be issued a license.
- Eligibility is determined by AREC, not the School. Alabama licensure has legal requirements beyond education — including age, lawful presence, and character/criminal-history review. If you have concerns about your eligibility (for example, a prior conviction), contact the Alabama Real Estate Commission before enrolling, as the School cannot determine eligibility and tuition is governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy regardless of eligibility outcomes.
- Not legal advice. Course content is educational and does not constitute legal, tax, or investment advice.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the School’s total liability arising from your enrollment or use of our services is limited to the amount of tuition you paid to us. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost income or licensing delays, or for temporary platform unavailability caused by maintenance or events beyond our control.
10. Communications
By enrolling you consent to receive administrative emails about your enrollment (progress, deadlines, completion). Marketing communications are optional and include an unsubscribe link.
11. Changes, Governing Law & Contact
We may update these Terms; the effective date above reflects the current version, and material changes will be posted on this page. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama. Questions or complaints may be directed to the School at the contact below, or to the Alabama Real Estate Commission.
