MY Real Estate School (“the School,” “we”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect from students and site visitors, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. It applies to alabamarealestateclass.com, our learning platform at myrecourses.com, and all courses we offer.

• Enrollment information: your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address when you register.
• Payment information: payments are processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store your full card number on our systems.
• Course activity records: lessons and topics completed, quiz attempts and scores, time spent in the course, and acknowledgements you submit. Alabama Real Estate Commission (AREC) rules and distance-education standards require us to keep these records to verify your instructional hours.
• Identity verification records: confirmation that your identity was verified (including photo ID check at the proctored final examination).
• Technical data: standard website logs such as browser type, device, and pages visited, plus cookies needed to keep you signed in and to understand how the site is used.

How We Use Your Information

• To deliver your course, track your progress, and issue your completion certificate
• To report course completions to AREC as required for your licensing
• To verify learner identity as required by distance-education certification standards
• To respond to your questions and provide technical support
• To send administrative messages about your enrollment (deadlines, completion status)
• To improve our courses and website

What We Share — and What We Never Do

We share information only with:

• The Alabama Real Estate Commission — completion and enrollment records required for licensure
• Service providers who operate our platform (website hosting, learning management system, payment processing, email delivery) — limited to what they need to perform their service
• Legal authorities when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights and safety of students and the School

How Long We Keep Records

Educational records (enrollment, activity, assessment, and completion records) are retained for as long as required by Alabama law, AREC regulations, and distance-education certification requirements. Records beyond required retention periods are securely deleted.

How We Protect Your Information

We use commercially reasonable safeguards: encrypted connections (HTTPS), password-protected accounts, access limited to authorized personnel, and reputable hosting providers. No online system is perfectly secure, so please protect your login credentials and notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized access.

Your Choices & Rights

• You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• You may ask us to correct inaccurate information
• You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time
• Requests to delete records are honored except where retention is required by law or licensing regulation

Children’s Privacy

Our courses are intended for adults preparing for professional licensure. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
