πŸŽ“ Academic Integrity & Student Identity Policy

MY Real Estate School Β Β·Β  AREC School License #69695

Why This Policy Exists

Your course completion certificate tells the Alabama Real Estate Commission that you personally completed 60 hours of qualifying education. Protecting the integrity of that statement protects the value of your license, the public, and every honest student. This policy applies to all students in all courses offered by MY Real Estate School.

Student Identity Requirements

  • One student, one account. You must enroll under your correct legal name and complete all coursework under your own account.
  • Credentials are personal. Sharing your username or password, or allowing anyone else to access your course, is prohibited.
  • Identity affirmation. Before beginning Lesson 1, every student completes an acknowledgement affirming their identity and agreement to this policy. The platform records this acknowledgement with the student’s account and a date/time stamp.
  • Photo ID at the final. Before the proctored final examination, the proctor verifies your current government-issued photo identification against your enrollment record.
  • Activity logging. Lesson completions, quiz attempts, and time in course are logged under your account and are subject to review.

Academic Honesty Rules

The following conduct is prohibited:

  • Having another person complete any lesson, quiz, or examination on your behalf β€” or completing work on behalf of another student
  • Using unauthorized assistance during the proctored final examination
  • Copying, photographing, or distributing quiz or examination questions
  • Misrepresenting your identity or falsifying any record connected to your enrollment
  • Attempting to manipulate the platform’s time-tracking or progression controls
Allowed and encouraged: taking notes, re-watching videos, retaking quizzes to learn from the explanations, using the textbook while studying, and contacting your instructor with questions. Study aids are for studying β€” the proctored final is closed-book.

Consequences of Violations

  • Violations may result in dismissal from the course without credit or refund.
  • Course completion will not be reported, and any certificate issued in error will be revoked.
  • Conduct involving license application fraud may be reported to the Alabama Real Estate Commission, which can affect your eligibility for licensure.

Suspected violations are reviewed by the school director and instructor. Students will be notified of any finding and may present information in their defense before a final decision.
