💳 Refund & Cancellation Policy
MY REAL ESTATE SCHOOL | alabamarealestateclass.com
Effective June 2026. AREC School License #69695
We want you to feel confident enrolling in our Alabama 60-Hour Pre-License Course. This policy explains when you may cancel your enrollment and request a refund, how to do it, and which charges are non-refundable. Please read it carefully before you purchase — by enrolling, you agree to these terms.
A note on Alabama requirements: This refund policy is set by our school. It does not change the education requirements established by the Alabama Real Estate Commission (AREC) — including the 60 approved instructional hours, the one-year window to complete the course, and the proctored final exam. Fees you pay to third parties (such as your exam fee to Pearson VUE or a separate proctoring service) are governed by those providers, not by us.
When You Qualify for a Refund
You are eligible for a full refund of the course price when all of the following are true at the time we receive your request:
- Your request is made within 30 calendar days of your purchase date; and
- You have completed no more than 50% of the course; and
- You have not attempted the course final exam (or any portion of it); and
- You have not been issued a certificate of completion.
When a Refund Is Not Available
Refunds cannot be issued once any of the following has occurred:
- More than 30 calendar days have passed since purchase;
- You have completed more than 50% of the course;
- You have started or attempted the course final exam;
- A certificate of completion has been issued or your completion has been reported to AREC;
- Your course access has expired (see below).
Course Access Period
Your enrollment provides access for one (1) year from your purchase date, unless a different period is shown at checkout or inside the course. Expired access is not eligible for a refund or transfer. AREC also requires that the 60-hour course be completed within one year of your start date (the date you first access the material).
How to Request a Refund
Submit your request in writing and include the items below so we can process it quickly:
| Step | What to Do |
|---|---|
| 1. Email us | Send your request to info@alabamarealestateclass.com with the subject line “Refund Request.” |
| 2. Include details | Your full name, the email used to enroll, your order/receipt number, and a brief reason for the request. |
| 3. We review | We confirm your eligibility against the criteria above and notify you of the outcome. |
| 4. We process | Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 7–14 business days. |
Non-Refundable Charges
The following are never refundable, as they are paid to or incurred by third parties on your behalf:
- State licensing exam fees paid to Pearson VUE;
- Third-party proctoring or identity-verification fees;
- Optional add-ons or bundled products clearly marked “non-refundable” at checkout;
- Payment processing fees, where applicable.
Cancellation by the School
If we cancel or discontinue a course you have paid for and you have not yet completed it, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid to us for that course, regardless of the time limits above.
Chargebacks
Please contact us first so we can resolve any billing concern directly. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us may result in suspension of course access pending resolution.
